Brush 'n Brunch

Come enjoy a weekly grooming session! You'll get one hour to groom and bond with a horse. Monthly cost is $100. Adults only.

​

During your first session you will learn how to halter the horse and bring it to the cross ties. Jessica will give you a run down on each of the brushes and how to move around the horse as you groom them, then leave you to it to bond with the horse. This is a great way to find some peace and tranquility in your week or a nice social time to groom while others groom their own horses.

​

Each person will have their own horse. There can be as many as six students joining us for brunch.

​

At the end of the hour, enjoy some coffee or tea, a snack, and feed your new horse friend a carrot (from a bucket).

Warning:  Horses are unpredictable. They may spook and step on your foot or pull back on the cross ties, which can be scary. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. This includes boots, pants, and a shirt that covers your torso (no exposed belly buttons please).

Tuesday 10:00 am Starting April 5th

  • Trace: Laid back, sweet, big personality

  • Fendi*: Reactive, smart, and busy, but very personable

  • Adele: Sweet, a little wiggly

  • Gio*: Young and dumb, but loves to cuddle

  • Whisper: Short, calm, with thick hair

  • Jabber: Calm, big cartoon eyes

  • Beau: Calm, falls asleep on the cross ties so you will have to wake him up periodically so he doesn't fall.

  • Data: Calm, tall, sweet

  • Tommy: Big, wiggly, bad picking up the first foot

  • Simon: Wiggly, a bit nippy

  • Lance: Pushy, falls asleep


To apply, text Jessica at 503-889-6758 with your Name, Age, Horse you would like to groom and session day. Please include any food allergies. (so I don't by peanut butter muffins or something)

All slots are on a first come first serve basis.

​

Payments are due on the first of the month. We accept cash, check, or Zelle. Includes once a week one hour grooming session. $100 monthly
